Brian is a great addition to the Innovative Wealth Managers' Suffield office, joining the team in March 2023 after obtaining his FINRA Series 7 designation. As a Retirement Planning Specialist with IWM, Brian focuses on assisting clients in developing a personalized and successful financial plan so that they may realize their desired lifestyle and prepare for a comfortable retirement. He is enthusiastic about the vital work performed by IWM: by closely assisting clients in managing financial decisions and by strategically fostering clients' successes in achieving 'big picture' life objectives. Getting to know each client and gaining an appreciation of their goals and values are all imperative steps in performing the function of an effective advisor. Brian appreciates being a part of the personalized, accessible approach of the IWM office, coupled with its strong knowledge base and experienced, professional staff.
Brian joins the firm with thirty years of experience as an attorney in the Hartford area. His background includes a B.A. in Economics from Boston College and J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Brian's focus outside of work is family - he resides in Suffield, Connecticut with wife, Heather, and their daughter and son, who now are now in law school and college, respectively. As a nearly lifelong resident Suffield, Brian states that he and his family have benefitted from strong institutions in Suffield, including educational, athletics, church and various community involvements. Throughout his kids' youth, he enjoyed the opportunity of coaching youth sports, including basketball, baseball and softball. He continues to remain involved locally as the chairman of the Suffield Parks and Recreation Commission and he is currently preparing for a team marathon that he and his family will run this October.
